Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
salt and pepper
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
Instructions:
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until almost browned. Add the garlic toward the end of the browning and cook for a few minutes. Drain the fat.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except the green onions). Stir well and simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
- Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.

This dish is very easy to make and takes less than a half hour to prepare, including the rice.
